What has the last 18 months taught you? Even from the horrible happenings during the pandemic there was, if you think about it, something you might have learned.
For me, it showed me that although I had to take precautions because of my age, I didn’t have to be afraid and live my life filled with fear. It also showed me yet again, that the most important things in life are people not things. And, most of all it showed me that just because I’m 80, I don’t want to retire and it doesn’t mean I can’t focus on something different to help other people.
So many people lost friends, family, mothers and fathers. I was lucky, I didn’t lose anyone close to me. I would bet that each one of the people who lost someone would have given up most, if not all, of their material items to have those people back again.
Everything starts with a thought and everything is a state of mind. So, I’d like you to take a moment and think about what you have learned during one of the most terrible periods of time for the country and the world.
All you have to do is tap into your inner power and know that anything you want to do CAN happen from wherever you stand right now.
One decision is all it takes. That decision can lead you to an action and that first action leads to a second action. Things begin to happen and before you know it you have momentum.
Don’t be afraid to move out of the comfort zone you are in. Yes, change can be scary but it can also change your life and you can make a difference in the world.
There is POWER in every moment you decide to act. So act!
‘til next time
Have a thoughtful week
Live life with abundance
