
It takes just sixteen words to tell you what can occur for you in life depending on your thinking.
Have you ever thought about how many times a day you actually have some kind of negative thought or a fear, however small it might be? There’s a very powerful little exercise that will tell you more about the way you think than you might have realized.
I haven’t always had positive thinking so this was one of the ways in which years ago, I learned to change my thinking plus I also used hypnotherapy because it allows for making any kind of change twice as fast.
You can use your phone to track your thoughts or if there isn’t a way to do that, use a little notebook or just a sheet of paper and each time you have any kind of doubt, fear, judgment, criticism or negativity make note of it. You can either write down the exact thought or just list the amount by the number of times.
Over the years when my clients have used this simple technique, they are often blown away by the number of negative thoughts that creep in without them even realizing it. By becoming aware, they are able to change their thinking and gradually negativity gets replaced by positive thinking most of the time.
It’s really important to be consciously aware of your thoughts because often, although you may not realize it, negative thinking is how you sabotage success in life. Not just in business but also in relationships and life in general.
