The quote today is by one of the world's finest scientific minds. Unfortunately at the age of 22 he was diagnosed with a rare form of motor-neurone disease. At that time he was told he would only live for another few years.
There were no miraculous cures for the disease so he decided he had too much to still do and wasn’t going to die young. By believing in himself, making some changes and thinking differently, he lived for another 54 years.
If you’re wondering what this has to do with life, really nothing in particular. After going through so much the last year I wanted to share something that was inspiring and motivational. (If you don’t know who he is, look him up on Google, his story is very inspirational.)
He is apparently not only remembered for his wisdom and discoveries but for his great sense of humor and ability to laugh at himself. He was known to say that “Life would be tragic if it weren’t funny.” I would definitely have to agree with that at times, as I’m sure you might.
I think, considering the changes the world has had to make during the last year, that we are all highly intelligent so, if you believe in yourself, wherever you might be at present, you will know that you have the ability to make whatever changes are necessary to get your life the right way up again.
‘Til Next Time
