This week in the US, on the 25th, it’s Thanksgiving which is a time for giving gratitude. On that note, I would like to honor and thank you for being a loyal reader of the Weekly Wisdom.
I receive lovely notes from time to time saying how much it is enjoyed and we are really pleased to be of service in this way.
This is usually a time for family and friends to get together for a big meal, catch up with each other and maybe have fun. Although I don’t think there will be huge gatherings because of Covid, most people will probably be able to have 10-12 at their table.
This also means in the US that it’s Black Friday on the 26th and Cyber Monday on the 29th.
There will be lots of sales. With everyone going crazy to get the best deals. This really is a good time to buy electronics of any kind that perhaps were too expensive before.
Going back to the quote. Limiting your choices can only lead to being stagnant. The wonderful thing about life as a human is that we have the ability to choose what we want in life.
Never compromise your dreams. Always remember that anything is possible if you know what you want and take conscious action to make it happen.
Many people have found since the pandemic started that they actually like to work from home.
However, it’s very different than working outside of the home in an office.
If you start something new or you are employed and they are OK with you working some days at home this would usually mean changing the way you do things.
After 25 years of having a home-based business, I know that it’s really important, not just to be organized but to also have a plan for what you are going to do each day. I find it more productive if I plan out my days at the beginning of each week.
When you work at home it’s very easy to get off track. Maybe you think to yourself I could throw a load of washing in the machine or pick up a book you’ve always wanted to finish. This is why it’s so important to have a plan.
In another few weeks, it will be December so now is a good time, whether they are personal or professional, to set your goals for 2022 so you can flow into the New Year with power and confidence.
If you have a goal that you want to reach by December next year, I would also suggest, if you are self-employed, that before the end of 2021 you have some kind of marketing and action plan in place that will help you to achieve what you want.
‘Til Next Time
Enjoy Your Week
